Topics include key milestones, referral considerations, and intervention strategies, such as parent coaching and AAC, to support language development and challenge common misconceptions about early speech and AAC use in CP.

- This poster presents a descriptive epidemiology of communication functioning at age 10 among children born extremely preterm. Using a range of speech, language, and communication measures, findings show that up to 28% had reduced communication abilities, highlighting the significant long-term communication needs in this population compared to national averages.
